Time is running out to take the 2020 Census
The Census Bureau will cease counting activities on Sept. 30. Polk County’s response rate currently stands at just 60.8 percent, far below the 2010 rate of 78 percent.
Census data is used to distribute billions of dollars in federal funding, grants and support, including Title 1 grants, the National School Lunch Program, and numerous other programs that help our students and families lead healthier, happier lives.
In these final days, we need your help to promote the Census.

Calling All Geometry Students!
If your child took Algebra last year and is currently in Geometry, they have the opportunity to bypass the Algebra EOC by passing the Geometry EOC at the end of this year. Please review the attached letter and then complete the bottom portion by selecting option 2. For On-Campus learners, the letter may be returned to Ms. Donald or Dr. Pascoa. For e-Learners, please print, complete, and take a picture or scan the complete bottom portion and email to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact Dr. Pascoa. Thank you!
Media Center Update
If your child has been tested for coronavirus, please do not send your child to school until you receive a negative test result. Please notify the school about the situation so that arrangements can be made for your child to participate in online learning.
If a member of your household has tested positive, please do not send your child to school and call the Florida Department of Health at 863-519-7911 for further direction.
