Title One Documents
Part of being a Title 1 school means working very closely with our parents and students. With that in mind, a Parent and Family Engagement Plan was established at Jewett with feedback from parents and staff members.
District and School-based Title I Parent and Family Engagement Programs in Polk County Public Schools will strive to BUILD RELATIONSHIPS in order to create real family engagement for every child, every family, every teacher, every day. With that in mind, a compact was created to outline how the parents/family, the entire school staff, and the students will share the responsibility for improved student academic achievement. By linking learning, the school and parents will build and develop a partnership that will help our students achieve the state’s high standards for the school year.
Polk County schools also has a district wide Parent and Family Engagement plan to help assist the approximately 60,000 students through out the county which are being serviced through the Title 1 program.
